Kathy practices solely in the area of Estate Planning and Estate settlement and Residential Real Estate. For many years she taught as Wills, Trusts & Estates as an Adjunct Professor at Pace University School of Law; She earned the Adjunct Professor of the Year Award in 2005 for a fourth consecutive year. She remains busy with the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (past president 2001-2003) and has served on the board of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Foundation. She serves on the Boards of the Estate Planning Council, the Westchester Public Private Partnership, and the Westchester Community Foundation. In her spare time, Kathy will golf and garden and squeeze in a bit of traveling
Linda practices Matrimonial and Family Law as well as Estate Planning and Estate Settlement and Residential Real Estate . She also practices Collaborative Law in addition to negotiating successful resolutions for her clients in a more traditional negotiation process and litigation of matrimonial and family court matters. She is a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, www.nycollaborativepractice.org and also a member of the Association of Collaborative Lawyers of Westchester and Rockland, www.collaborativelaw-ny.org. Linda continues to be active on many boards in the community and within the legal profession, including the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (past president 1999-2001), where she is currently a co-chair of the past president’s committee, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Foundation where she is on the board of directors having served as President during the 2008-2009 year, the New York State Bar Association where she serves on the Non Resident Committee, and the Surprise Lake Camp Board where she serves as President. She also serves on the executive committee of the Pace Women’s Justice Center. She uses her non-billable time to enjoy her four grandchildren, and she is learning to play golf.
Simon works as “Of counsel” for us. Along with his LLM in Taxation, he brings experience in different areas of expertise, increasing the depth of our knowledge to better serve our clients with corporate and commercial needs (in areas of corporate law, estate planning and real estate). Stuart, our Senior “Of Counsel”, served as Vice-President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel for the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association until October of 2014. We are able to access his government relations, consumer law and administrative law expertise on an after-hours basis. I. Miles Pollack recently joined the firm as “Of Counsel’ and has practiced law for 51 years in New York City and Westchester. He has a background in commercial and residential real estate and was one of the first to do co-op and condo conversions in New York City. He also specializes in litigation having gotten million dollar settlements for his clients. He was a Hearing Officer in the New York City Parking Violations Bureau, sat on multiple occasions as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and as an arbitrator in the White Plains City Court.
Sherry A. Bishko continues to work with firm as a full time Associate, focusing on matrimonial, estate planning and estate settlement matters.
Stephane C. Wicks was an Associate from May, 2010 to May 2015 and has moved to North Carolina to work for wells Fargo as a post mortem planner.
Mary Lovett Nitsch, Esq., who was formerly “Of Counsel” to our firm, has retired. She left her office files with us and we are delighted to handle the needs of her former clients if they wish us to do so.
