A reminder, if you left signed, original estate planning documents with the Firm, they were sent to Bleakley Platt and Schmidt, LLP for safe keeping. BPS is located at One North Lexington Ave, White Plains, NY 10601, phone: (914) 949-2700. BPS has agreed to retain custody of your documents, at no charge to you or us. In the future, you may collect your documents from BPS, or you might want to use their law firm for your estate planning or other legal needs. That is up to you. Our arrangement with Bleakley Platt does not include any exchange of consideration between us. No financial or other thing of value is promised or expected in exchange for BPS’s agreement to take custody of the documents. For instance, there is no agreement or arrangement for us to share in any fees that BPS might receive from you if you retained that firm to do work for you in the future. If you do call Bleakley Platt, ask for attorney James Ausilli, Esq. and tell him that you were a Rosenthal & Markowitz client. It is your responsibility to inform BPS directly, if you move or if you execute new planning documents with someone else, so your records may be updated. If you move and do not tell BPS, then neither BPS nor Rosenthal & Markowitz are responsible if you do not receive additional notices or communications.
We thank our clients and staff and each other for a wonderful 25 years.
