Robbin E. Sweeney, Esq.Robbin E. Sweeney, Esq., joined Rosenthal & Markowitz, LLP, in July 0f 2018, bringing to the firm over 20-years of experience as an attorney. Her practice concentration includes Residential Real Estate Transactions (including properties in NYC exceeding $6 million), Estate Planning & Administration, and Elder Law and Guardianships. Over the years, Robbin developed a working knowledge of matrimonial practice and is looking forward to collaborating with the Rosenthal & Markowitz matrimonial team to expand her practice areas.

Robbin graduated from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY, magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1981, then continued her education at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, NY, where she served as Pace Environmental Law Review Editor and graduated in two and a half years while working full-time for Merrill Lynch Mortgage Corporation. MLMC provided her with the foundation for residential real estate transactions.

Robbin supplemented counseling skills by completing a 60-credit Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University in 2009, achieving the the highest honors, while simultaneously working full time and raising 3 successfull children. In 2007, she received certification as a Professional Coach from the New York City Open Center. Utilizing the combination of her education and experienc

es, she conducts seminars, trainings and webinars on legal topics, as well as a variety of leadership, business and wellness topics, throughout New York State and the U.S. She is an engaging speaker and trainer and supports attendees to get the most from the program.

Robbin is a 4-time contract award recipient with New York State – Office of the Governor delivering trainings on: Elder Law and Guardianships; Family Transitions; Caring for Aging Loved Ones (including the legal implications); and Grief in the Workplace.

In her spare time, Robbin provides individual and leadership coaching to support personal and organizational goal setting, improve communication skills and sustain change. Since joining the firm, Robbin has commited to learning golf. Having raised her family in Pleasantville, Robbin now resides in Briarcliff, New York.
